Mother's day bike ride

What better way to spend mother's day than on a seven hour bike ride with this thing on my head....no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no. Outside of my two naps with my head wedged into place by the handle bar, the ride was beautiful. We followed Kelly drive up through East Falls and just before Manayunk got onto a trail that took us to forbidden drive. We cut over to Mt Airy and after a short stint in the wrong direction (whew, you should have seen mom's face!) ended up having a picnic at a park I haven't been to since I was eight weeks old. I didn't really recognize it because, you know, 8 weeks is pretty young.
