Last weekend, mom's good friend from grad school, Elizabeth, came for a visit. They then abandoned me at home with dad while they ate and drank in merriment. The next day, as dad was down at the boat poking holes in things and losing his cell phone, I played with Simona and Owen (and their mom's of course).

Rockin' Dolphin

Look what Kate got me! How cool is this? Basically this allows me to prep for the upcoming (9 years and counting down) cruise in which I truly will be cavorting with dolphins in the wild. Do you think they will let me ride their tails?

New York City

My first trip to NYC. I was there with mom and dad for a conference. And this time I am not even kidding, I really have no idea what number conference this is. As mom spent time stressing and catching up with friends, I hung out. We were staying in Times Square - which was really cool, although the massivo throngs of people that exist in that space is ridiculous....and makes a stroller damn near useless. However, dad took me to central park where I got to play in this super huge super cool playground designed for little people just about my size. It rocked. you can see I found NYC electrifying!

Little Lizy

My granddad recently sent some pictures of my mom that she has not seen in years. This is her at an age that can't be too far from my own current age. A couple of points to note. First, how obvious is it that mom was a child of the seventies? Kids everywhere are clamoring for a dress just like this one...I know I am. Second, brown eyes and hair aside....don't you think she looks like me?
